Albex Gold
- Albex gold is a 200mg/ml oral suspension for cattle with active ingredient albendazole.
- Albex gold is a highly effective fluke and worm drench for the treatment of benzimidazole susceptible mature and developing immature forms of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and adult liver fluke in cattle only.
- The product is also ovicidal against fluke and roundworm eggs.
- Albex gold is a white to off white suspension.
- Albex gold is available in 1L, 2.5L and 5L.

Albex Gold Active and Other Substances
- Active substance: albendazole – 200.0mg/ml.
- Preservatives: Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate – 2.0mg/ml.
- Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate – 0.2mg/ml.
Method and Routes of Administration
- Worm Dose: Dosage 7.5mg albendazole per kg bodyweight corresponding to 3.75ml per 100kg bodyweight.
- Fluke and Worm Dose: Dosage 10mg albendazole per kg bodyweight corresponding to 5ml per 100kg bodyweight.
- Cattle over 600kg give a further 3.75ml or 5ml for each additional 100kg bodyweight.
- Shake well before use.

Withdrawal Period
- Meat and Offal: 7 days.
