Description

Chanatol

• Chanatol oral solution for the treatment of acetonaemia in cattle and pregnancy toxaemia in sheep and goats.
• Both diseases are a result of a lack of energy due to an increase of demand on the animal.
• Chanatol Oral Dose is a glucose precurser providing the animal with a source of replacement carbohydrate.
• Chanatol available in 1L, 2.5L and 5L.

Containing

• cobalt sulphate heptahydrate 0.099% w/v & propylene glycol to 100%.

Dosage

• Cattle: 200ml morning and evening for the first day, followed by 100ml twice a day for 3 days.
• Sheep and goats: 100ml daily for 6 days.

Withdrawal Period

• Foodstuffs must not be taken for human consumption during treatment period.
• Edible tissue: cattle, sheep, goats – 3 days.
• Milk: cattle, sheep, goats – 3 days.
