Description

Equest Horse Wormer

• A moxidectin oral gel with active substance 18.92mg/g of moxidectin.
• For the treatment of infections caused by moxidectin sensitive strains of nematodes and bots in horses and ponies.
• High effectiveness against adult small strongyles with the longest expected egg suppression of any broad spectrum wormer at 13 weeks.
• Ideal for high shedders and new horses.
• Unique 2 week persistency against small strongyles.
• Used to control benzimidazole resistant strains of small strongyles.
• Palatable gel formulation that liquefies in the horses mouth to reduce risk of reinfection and ensure the horse receives their correct dose.

Directions For Use:

• For use in all horses and ponies.
• Suitable to use on pregnant and lactating mares, stallions and foals from four months of age.
• Equest horse wormer has been formulated specifically for use in horses only.

Method and Route of Administration:

• Ergonomically designed 700kg dial a dose calibrated syringe with 25kg bodyweight graduations for accurate dosing according to bodyweight.
• A single oral dose of 400 µg moxidectin/kg bodyweight using the calibrated syringe.
• Each tick mark (small black lines) on syringe relates to 25kg of bodyweight.
• Turn the dial ring until the left side of the ring lines up with the weight of the animal.
• A single syringe treats a 700kg horse.

Withdrawal Period:

• Meat and Offal – 32 days.
