First Drink

• Recovery Drink for Freshly calved cows.
• A high level of Nicotinic acid is added to support ketosis prevention.
• Increasing the rate of metabolism of ketones and reducing fat metabolism in early lactation.
• By providing First Drink after calving the cow recovers quickly from calving and is given a very good start to lactation and subsequent fertility.
• Very tasty and gives cow energy.
• First drink contains electrolytes, prebiotics, antioxidants, salts, and yeast extracts.
• First drink includes calcium, phosphorous, vitamin D3 and B vitamins to aid recovery.
• First drink is available in 14kg bucket which has 20 feeds.

Feeding Instructions

• Easy to prepare.
• First Drink is a water soluble powder and very palatable.
• Mix 700 grams to 15 to 20 litres of warm water and mix well.
• To achieve an optimal drinking temperature.
• Offer the warm solution immediately after calving.
• *Assure the cow cannot drink water after calving, until First Drink is supplied.
