Feeding Instructions

• Calcium levels are at their lowest: 6 – 12 hours pre-calving/lambing. 18 – 24 hours post-calving/lambing.
• Delivering 4 x 500ml of Calcium Action at 9 – 12 hour intervals during the period of risk will help to avoid milk fever in cows.
• Cows – administer 500ml 12 hours pre-calving, 500ml at time of calving, 500ml at 12 hours and 24 hours post-calving. If handling is an issue administer 500ml at calving and 500ml 9 – 12 hours later.
• Ewes – administer 50ml 12 hours pre-lambing, 50ml at time of lambing, 50ml at 12 hours and 24 hours post-lambing. If handling is an issue, administer 50ml at lambing and 50ml 9 – 12 hours later.
